When a Gold Coast patient comes to us needing a tooth implant we will conduct an in depth consultation to make sure they are suitable for this procedure and that it will ultimately benefit them.
Once we decide to go ahead with implant treatment, we try to be as minimally invasive as possible using Concentrated Growth Factors (CGF) and a digital surgical guide that shows us where the tooth is going to be placed and how much bone we’re going to have when the implant is placed as well as where exactly to drill. We plan everything before the procedure on our software, so we have a clear plan to avoid unnecessary discomfort or anxiety to the patient.
Sometimes a patient may require a sinus lift. This happens when someone has had teeth missing for a longer period of time and the air cell in the sinus has come down. We need to lift the sinus and place a bone graft into it. We can safely do this in our rooms using PIEZO surgery and using CGF. If the sinus lift is more complex and major we may need to refer the patient out for this part of the treatment plan.
About Dental Implants
