Dr Courtney Kim Yoshida (Bdent, Grad Dip Ortho, FICOI) is an experienced dentist with a strong focus on orthodontics and dental implants. She earned her Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Sydney in 2008 and has since built a reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Since graduating, Dr Courtney Kim Yoshida has developed a particular interest in orthodontics, especially clear aligner therapy. As an early adopter, she became an Invisalign-certified provider in 2010, during the early stages of aligner development. To further strengthen her expertise, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from City of London University in 2017. In addition, she undertook the Spark MasterCOIP program with pioneers of invisible orthodontics in Europe.
Alongside orthodontics, implant dentistry is another key area of focus. Over time, she has completed extensive continuing education in dental implantology, including a comprehensive implant certificate from the International Association of Advanced Dentistry. As a result of her clinical experience and ongoing training, Dr Courtney Kim Yoshida was awarded Fellow status with the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
At the core of her approach is a commitment to minimally invasive, patient-centred care. Consequently, her favourite feedback from patients is hearing that their treatment felt gentle and pain-free.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Courtney Kim Yoshida enjoys spending time with her two young boys. Whether at the local park or by the beach, family time is important to her. She is also a native Korean speaker and is conversational in Japanese, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients.
